INSPECTAH DECK (Wu Tang Clan)

One's & Two's in association with Drum Arts Centre presents Wu Tang Clan's INSPECTAH DECK

Tuesday 9th October 2012 at Rainbow Warehouse, Birmingham

Held in high regard by fans of the Wu-Tang legacy for his oft-show stealing displays of high intensity, ear-catching lyricism on the slew of appearances he has made. Deck AKA The Rebel INS’ place in hip hop history is cemented through being the author and voice behind the infamously quotable line “life as a shorty shouldn’t be so rough” on “C.R.E.A.M.” and the explosive “ I bomb atomically” opening verse on ‘Triumph. Aside from his clan duties he has lit up tracks with Big Pun, Gang Starr and Pete Rock. 2012 will also see the release of Deck’s fifth solo release ‘The Rebellion’.

Nasography : This Is Nas 1991-2002

"XVII, 17th Letter and Audio Boutique Presents Nasography: This Is Nas 1991-2012"

Beging ask to do a mixtape of Nas leads to one thing, and that's to do it right. Nas is known to be one of the greastest MC to touch a Mic and as he's been in the rap game for 21 years I could only make this mixtape a travel of Nas's music from 1991 to 2012, from "Illmatic" to Life Is Good" It was fun putting it together and fun hearing it back and remembering where I was at the time when I first heard some of his past songs. It's all started with Main Source's "Live At The Babeque" featuring a young Nasty Nas in 1991 which was also my first year I started out as a DJ and my first record that I set it off with in a club. So hook this up to your Boom Box, Car Stereo, iPod or your computer and press play and enjoy the ride.

Radio: For Promotional Use Only Photo Shoot

My radio, believe me, I like it loud
I'm the man with a box that can rock the crowd
Walkin' down the street, to the hardcore beat
While my TDK vibrates the concrete
I'm sorry if you can't understand
But I need a radio inside my hand
Don't mean to offend other citizens
But I kick my volume way past 10
My story is rough, my neighbourhood is tough
But I still sport gold, and I'm out to crush
My name is Psykho, I devastate the show
But I couldn't survive without my radio

Photo shoot for the up and coming project "Radio: For Promotional Use Only" which will be My first recored LP. No date but it's going to be jammed with dope beats, heavy bass, cuts & scratching and nice samples.
